PomoChamp

A Pomodoro timer disguised as a 16-bit fighting game.

The problem

Plain Pomodoro timers give you no feedback during the 25 minutes, which for an ADHD brain is its own special torture. Could focus feel like winning a fighting-game tournament instead?

What I did

I designed the whole concept, the database schema, the fighter system, the scoring and the gameplay loop, then built it in Bolt with heavy AI assistance: a full-stack app with authentication, persistent data and a proper state machine.

The outcome

A shipped hackathon entry, built to a hard deadline. Proof of full-stack delivery by a non-developer using AI tools.

What I learned

Building for my own documented need made the design decisions obvious, and a deadline turned out to be a feature in itself: it forces you to ship.
